I'm reading your About page, now explain yourself!

I created my first software application at age 10, a point-and-shoot game called "Barney Killer". I earned $5 shareware and was featured in a Japanese magazine for some reason.

Since then, I've been hooked on creating great experiences through software. Sometimes, I make money doing it.

I design for transformation and delight. I believe good software design is about engaging the user at a personal level and establishing long-term trust through continued experiences. I am a strong advocate for worldview and composition in design.

What are your credentials !?!

In 2005 I earned my degree in Computer Science. I worked as a management consultant with Deloitte for three years, specializing in software architecture. I didn't really like living out of a suitcase. In 2008, I returned to school and earned a degree in Human Computer Interaction Design. I worked for Disney Animation as a summer graduate associate (fancy way of saying "intern with a masters").

I stayed in Bloomington, IN after graduation in 2010 and worked for Cook Medical as the mobile software lead. During that time I successfully established the mobile department within Cook, and pivoted the team from cost-center to profit-center. I went part-time with Cook in 2011 to found software product and consultancy Bloomingsoft. I create software products for iPhone/iPad and consult for other companies on their own strategy.

You're boring!

When I'm not doing software stuff, I hike and camp with my girlfriend who puts up with me (god bless her). I'm working on a large-scale outdoor garden in my yard for the Spring of 2012.

I demand personal photos of you!
